The Florence Lodge No. 2212 was founded on August 8, 1881 and was reactivated November 26, 2015. The Florence Lodge No. 2212 is located in Florence, South Carolina from which it gained it’s name. We are looking for you to help fill the seats as members also as leaders.
The purpose of the lodge is to support the community, support the members, and lastly grow the order for the Grand United Order of Odd Fellows in America and Jurisdiction.
The state of South Carolina is now on the move again and reforming the state and reactivating as South Carolina District 13 Grand Lodge in 2017. Come along for the ride for this growing movement as we revive our state, help build our communities, mentor our youth, and become one of our brothers as we are our brothers keeper.

Three Wise Men

On February 11, 2017 members of Florence Lodge No. 2212 received the Noble Father degree. This degree is the highest degree that the Grand United Order of Odd Fellows in America and Jurisdiction offers. The degree work was given by District Grand Master Brother Alvin Roane of Virginia, GUOOF Historian Brother James W Wallace III, GUOOF Grand Trustee Brother Gerald Ogburn Sr., and Hayes Chapel Lodge No. 8123 Noble Grand and GUOOF Committee of Management member Rev. Bobby Stone. All these brothers comes from District 15 of the state of Virginia.
With the Noble Father degree the Florence Lodge No. 2212 brothers has now earned the right to bring the next lodge of Odd Fellows back to South Carolina which is the Past Grand Council. The Odd Fellows Past Grand Council is the second of three lodges of the Grand United Order of Odd Fellows in America and Jurisdiction offers to those seeking additional knowledge.
The brothers who received the Noble Father degree are part of the Eleven Men of Enlightenment from the original eleven brothers who brought Grand United Order of Odd Fellows in American and Jurisdiction back to South Carolina. In addition to them receiving their degree they received a new line name of Three Wise Men.
The members of Florence Lodge No. 2212 seeks to fill a growing need to support the individuals in South Carolina as well as honor the past rich history that the Grand United Order of Odd Fellows in American Jurisdiction once had in South Carolina by bringing the state back from a black state to a state built on it’s values of Friendship, Love, and Truth.
