Executed Settlement Agreement Cannon and GUOOF (1)
Greetings to all from the HGM Shawn Cannon of the Improved Order of Patriotic Odd Fellows. I am proud to announce that the book fight is over with Grand United Order of Odd Fellows in America is over and HGM Cannon has come out on top to prove that the unjust does not win. I have posted the agreement on the link above but will give a quick recap.
Recap:
- The Grand United Order of Odd Fellows has agree to sign over all claims to all the both rituals and general law books.
- The Grand United Order of Odd Fellows can only use items that are in open domain and can not copy write anything close to what is in the master book. The does not include any General Laws for any branch so none can be used.
- The Grand United Order of Odd Fellows can never sue HGM Shawn Cannon for anything from the past.
HGM Shawn Cannon would like to thank those who helped with him getting the copywrite. First Honorable Grand Secretary for given the information that Grand United Order of Odd Fellows had nothing trade mark or copywritten. Second the Brother of Louisiana, Brother and Sister of Maryland, and Brother from Florida for assisting in giving the needed books necessary to make the master book. Third the the three Household of Ruth members who conduct the edits of the book from North Carolina master book. Forth the person in Household of Ruth who put together the master book. Five for the Committee of Management who fought to get the writes of the book back and who spent a good bite of $30,000 plus to fight and we were only asking for $750.00.
HGM Shawn Cannon also like to say he is sorry the Committee of Management turn down the offer to buy the master book out of pride over the need of the Order. Lastly we all with the Grand United Order Odd Fellows and Household of Ruth well as we now move forward with the use of all the books HGM Shawn Cannon has.
